  • Whether through counselling, guided meditation, breathwork, or psychedelic facilitation and integration, my primary aim is to create a safe, nurturing, catalytic space for you to naturally resource your personal development.

MY METHODOLOGY

  • CLARITY

    Counselling and coaching work shouldn’t be endless; you need sight of its objectives. We start with assessments and getting clear on goals. What ideal outcomes do you hope for? Are they realistic? What does “success” look like?

  • HONESTY

    Being authentic is the only way this works. Who are you really? Who do you want to be once free from the illusion of identity? Learn how to channel your truth. Prepare to be challenged (with love) so we can get to the bones of your why.

  • FLOW

    Healing is not linear. It’s a delicate dance of imperfect lessons. So, together, we continually refine what we’ve learned. What therapeutic modalities can we integrate into your coaching to suit your needs? How can I support your growth?

This approach derives from the idea that real happiness starts with making conscious choices and looking inward. It encourages you to dig deep, leading to real, meaningful changes. From barely surviving to thriving, The Anatomy of Happy is about embracing happiness as a natural part of who you are.

  • Self-realisation is the first step – recognising and accepting where you are now, not where you think you should be. This stage helps break the cycle of negative relationships and self-doubt by fostering a deeper understanding of your true Self.

  • In the Unlearning stage, we dismantle the harmful patterns and beliefs that have kept you in survival mode. It's about relearning how to approach life, relationships, and yourself healthier and more constructively.

  • Forgiveness then allows you to release the burdens of the past, a critical step in moving from a place of hurt and resentment to peace and forward motion. Remember, forgiveness begins with forgiving yourself.

  • Self-love involves building a nurturing and supportive relationship with yourself. It's about changing the internal narrative from one of criticism to one of acceptance and encouragement.

  • The stage of Connection expands your journey outward, helping you build healthier, more fulfilling relationships with others based on your newfound self-awareness and self-respect.

The Zen Den

The Zen Den is about integrating all of the above changes into your daily life, maintaining a balance that allows you to enjoy a newfound level of peace and contentment. It's a continuous practice, not a final destination.

The Anatomy of Happy is more than a pursuit of happiness; it's a lifeline for those who feel adrift in the sea of existence. It offers practical tools and guidance to help you navigate life's complexities, transforming your experience from merely getting by to mastering the art of living.

“Martin kindly invited me into an Ayahuasca ceremony, and my entire perspective and sense of desire has changed, which for me is truly the shift I needed. It almost didn’t, though, and this is where Martin completely saved the day.

Let me explain.

Literally, a few hours after my ayahuasca experience, I was abruptly and rudely thrown back into real life, and my integration period felt as though it was slipping away. I was back in my ego, scared and guarded, and I genuinely felt like the visceral teachings I had received were not something I felt in my body anymore. I was so sad to have lost them!

Martin, being the human that he is, checked in on me, and I told him what had happened after the ceremony. He made me feel extremely at ease about my fear of having lost out on all these amazing lessons. He told me that I could rekindle my experience by tapping back into nature, kundalini yoga, breathwork, and simply talking about my experience. I took his advice and continued to meet with him.

Martin has made things click with me. Some of these things I had never heard of before, and others I had heard, but it was never something I was able to embody until he delivered it to me. I think that a lot of that is because he has always met me where I am and not forced me to be anywhere else. He has always been supportive in giving me directions instead of driving me somewhere.

The way I have been explaining this to people is that if I had to, I would take all the money I have invested in therapy sessions in my 31 years of life and invest it all in one night of ayahuasca coupled with the integration work that Martin has done with me. I would consider it a much more intelligent, efficient, effective, and wise investment.

So, this is how I am feeling now. I feel way more clear about what I want and what I need to do in order to obtain and receive it. I am much more calm in my body. For once, I have accepted that the work that I need to do cannot keep happening in my head and that my body is what needs healing. I have known that for years, but I finally feel like I can take action and embody all the things that I have understood logically but not emotionally.

I know I have a long way to go, but I definitely don’t feel alone on that road anymore and trust that when it comes time to go left or right, Martin will lead me in the direction that suits my wellbeing and best interest”.
